Okay so my honest review. As an avid “wig wearer” for the past 7 years I’m pretty educated and notorious for my wigs being undetectable…now with this, Mind you, Amazon wig shopping to me is pretty hard from the start because you really can’t gauge the quality. So I was looking at about five different units before I chose this one, and the primary reason that I chose this one as opposed to the other ones is because of the color definition with the multicolor of blondes. The shadow root that it comes with I was hoping would be darker but it pretty much is a light brown or 7a-7.1 for my unit wearers. Definitely not as dark as I was hoping. Now, in first opening up the package the hair is beautiful. true to its look, true to the brightness of the blonde, however I am going to say point-blank that the wig dimensions explained in the pictures is kinda inaccurate, the unit cap does not measure to that at all. Maybe it’s 13 inches across but I will tell you right now it is not that far back on the scalp. I think maybe 3-4 inches tops. The hair is significantly thinner on the bottom than it is at the top which would make sense because there’s more hair bundled up around the nape and as you go down it’s going to get thinner. The hair was soft to touch, literally no shedding. And was very easy to shadow root and tone using purple shampoo, it turned a beautiful silver. Now after installing, it takes a little more to work with, the lace was much more transparent than I would’ve imagined. However in comparison to the synthetic that I’ve been wearing for the past few months, there are quite a few cons for this unit which is pretty unfortunate considering the price point. I think that this unit is good for beginners probably trying to get into the wig scene however for someone who has been wearing wigs for a minute, I was expecting more and was kinda sorta maybe let down, but she does her job. If you don’t style this correctly, it’s going to look like a wig, so my greatest piece of advice in purchasing this unit is that if you’re going to spend the money for what you’re getting, I would definitely make sure that you do some research into softening the look of this unit and making it look more realistic. Maybe even going so far as to pull out a little bit of your hair in the front to extend the part line on top, but that’s just my opinion. I will post pictures later after I have finished installing and styled.
